At all dog trials at every centre and club in New Zealand it is mandatory that "All classes and types of dogs entering trial grounds must have Ovis Certificates of no more than 30 days prior to trial. This approved Council recommendation, wi t hout exception , is to be strictly enforced and applies to all dogs, competing or otherwise, present on trial grounds.

S heepDog. SheepDog is a CD with a Microsoft based database containing the entire contents of all of the Stud books published since inception. You can search based on the surname of the owner of the dog. There are 3 main reports generated:. Pedigree Reports; Search for the owner, pick the dog you want to see, press OK and there it is. You can select to see up to 7 generations. Progeny Reports; As for Pedigree Reports; search for the owner, pick the dog you want to see, press OK and a list will appear of all of the progeny of that dog that appear in the SheepDog Database.

This list is sorted in alphabetical order of the Mate. These dogs become part of your list of dogs on your computer.

It is not possible to register dogs in the personal version of SheepDog. You will only see the breeding of dogs that you choose to look up.
